The European University Rankings were conducted for the second time this year by QS (Quacquarelli Symonds), one of the most respected university rating organizations worldwide. In the 2026 European University Rankings, in which universities from 42 different European countries were evaluated, Istanbul Medeniyet University ranked in the 651-700 band. Our university ranked 44th in the Turkey ranking, which included 102 universities.
In the 2026 European University Rankings, universities were evaluated according to 12 different criteria such as Academic Recognition, Employer Recognition, Number of Citations per Publication, International Research Network and Sustainability. Among these, our university ranked 4th among all state universities in Türkiye in terms of the number of citations per publication.
