Istanbul Medeniyet University (IMU) was featured for the first time in 2021 in the QS Emerging Europe & Central Asia (EECA) University Rankings for 2022. In 2021, IMU was ranked in the top 300 best universities in the EECA region.
As one of the youngest public universities in Turkey, Istanbul Medeniyet University was ranked;
- in QS EECA Rankings 2022 in the 251-300 band regarding the overall listing among EECA universities.
- 18th in the “citations per paper” indicator, achieving recognized success by scoring 93.5 points out of 100.
- 38th at the national level.
About QS EECA ranking
The QS EECA Rankings were constructed using 10 indicators, including academic reputation, employer reputation, faculty/student ratio, papers per faculty, international research network, web impact, staff with a PhD, citations per paper, international faculty and international students. Each of the subject rankings is compiled using several quality and performance indicators.
